2026 Summer Monday League

Team Fee: $975+HST + $100 bond (will be returned at end of season if requirements met) - TOTAL $1201.75 / team
 

First Game: May 25 
Final Game: August 17
*New for 2026 - we will have games scheduled on Civic Holiday.

Time: Games start at 6:30pm

Roster Requirements
Teams must have a minimum of 12 rostered players, of which 7 must be women, before the end of the day on May 18. 
Only teams meeting these requirements will be scheduled to play. 
 
Ratio Rule A 
Ratio Rule A is in effect for this league. At the start of the game, after the first disc flip, an additional disc flip happens with the winner selecting the gender-matching ratio for the first point (either 4W/3O or 3W/4O). For the second and third points the ratio must be the reverse of the first point. For the fourth and fifth points the ratio must be same as the first point. This pattern of alternating the ratio every two points repeats until the end of the game (half time has no impact on the pattern). New in 2026, the gender-matching group with 4 players on the field is required to have a player of that gender match complete the pull.
 
Spirit Captain
At least one spirit captain is required to be identified on the roster. Please review https://www.hamiltonultimate.com/sotg/ and select an appropriate Spirit Captain.
 
Captains' Meeting
In lieu of a Captains' meeting, a detailed email will be sent to captains and spirit captains prior to league start.

Players are encouraged to make use of the HUC Discord to post their interest in joining a team for the season.  We are not currently maintaining a list of players or subs.
