- A Responsible Adult, who is not a parent or legal guardian, can only be responsible for up to three (3) Junior players and must be authorized by the parent or legal guardian of each Junior in order to fulfill this role.
- Parents or legal guardians can be responsible for any number of Junior players for which they are parents or legal guardians. In addition, they can be responsible for up to three (3) Junior players for which they are not a parent/legal guardian.

A team may play a regular season game with at most three (3) non-member players, with the full disclosure to the opposing captain and acceptance by that captain. In this way we can allow for newly recruited players, out-of-town visitors, or occasional pick-up players. Captains are encouraged to recruit substitute players from lower level teams or leagues in that season

Players may not be listed as a regular player on another roster within the same league.

Outdoor Leagues: Any non-member player may play a maximum of two (2) regular season games in outdoor leagues. After that point, they must register as a HUC member in order to continue playing and where applicable they must contact HUC and register for that league as well.

Indoor Leagues: Any non-member player may play a maximum of one (1) regular season game in normal indoor leagues. After that point, they must register as a HUC member in order to continue playing and where applicable they must contact HUC and register for that league as well.

Playoff participants MUST be a registered HUC member in good standing.

All Other Leagues - 1 week prior to start of playoffs
- In the absence of a defined roster deadline (ie. indoor leagues) the player must be added no later than one week prior to playoffs beginning
- Play a league minimum amount of regular season games as follows:

- Participants may not participate on more than 1 team in the playoffs for the same league, they may only participate on 1 playoff team as a regular player, or as a qualified substitute who is not already participating in the playoffs for the same league. This includes multiple divisions in the same league.
